Stadium Could Boost Downtown Hamilton
The heart of any city is it’s downtown core. Without a healthy downtown a city cannot grow which can affect jobs, businesses, real estate values and the economy as a whole. The city of Hamilton is trying to encourage urban renewal buy construction a new stadium downtown that will be used for the Pan-Am games which will be held in Hamilton Ontario in 2015.
Putting the new stadium in a more central location would not only encourage more development in the area but it would also boost the economy with more jobs and an increase in local businesses that want to take advantage of the extra traffic that the stadium would generate. All-in-all the project will be good for the city and help it to grow in the year to come.
